Hi Nereid!
I think you need to work your magic again. Wouldn't it be nice it the APOD being discussed were mentioned in the topic. It gets a little confusing at times trying to discuss [Today's APOD]. Thanks again for keeping The asterisk neat and orderly

In Discuss an APOD, Sulphuric Acid Clouds On Venus could be combined with Properties of sulfuric acid (APOD 26 Feb 2008). Scale of APOD pictures and Scales needed for almost all APODs could also be combined.

[spills over] I meant that some of the items that were moved were over on the 2'nd page of the asterisk quorum. Nereid usually deletes these after they are a month old. They have been deleted already though; so it has been already taken care of.

Some avalanche posts to merge. Wouldnt it be nice if the APOD date were posted on the subject line? Maybe we need a required aera on the subject line.

Hi Nereid; I really hate to be the only one to remind you; but things are getting cluttered. Mrs Stickney and APOD for April 10 are about Stickney Crater. There are 4 for April 6 counting the post on nuclear fusion; and there are two for April 7. There is also a for sale post.

I may have even missed some.

This is an ongoing problem! Members need to post the APOD of the day and date on the subject line instead of making up a subject line when posting a new thread. Also it would help if they checked to see if a thread was already started. Then adding to that thread instead of starting a duplicate.

Maybe the Mods could set-up a daily post with the image linked to it and all appropriate postings should fall in it

Might even create a direct link to the Asterisk through the APOD page to the daily discussion topic

I think all of this has been argued before. Since Asterisk and APOD are seperate entities, collusion is unlikely even if desirable.
