Boy : Look Ma! What's that cow up in the sky?

Mother: No son. That's a hippopotamus - 'Horse of the River'

Boy: River??? What's it doin' up in the sky?

Mother: That one made it to heaven dear.

Not really, although I do enjoy his obscurity...

The subject nebula has the head-on appearance of a hippo... with mouth wide open... (of course my head is usually wide open... as in spaces  )

As a non-scientist... this was the closest I could come to constructive commentary regarding our neighboring cosmic creational image... NGC 3576.

Not a problem. I understood your reference, and I agree, it does look like a hippopotamus. It just seemed to me like something neufer would post. I'm sure we'll see something equally (or more) obscure from him. I look forward to it. Provides the mind with exercise.

Obscure is not the word I'd use to describe those posts. Bizarre would be more appropriate.

But then, to each their own.....
