A Working Anti Gravity Device

Post by THX1138 » Fri Aug 03, 2007 6:34 am

I thought this might be an interisting topic, what say you space junkies?
My 2 cents worth are / Gravity beaten today, the speed of light tomorrow!
In any event this looks like it's on the real.

BREAKTHROUGH AS SCIENTISTS BEAT GRAVITY.
by Robert Matthews and Ian Sample
SCIENTISTS in Finland are about to reveal details of the world's first anti-gravity device. Measuring about 12in across, the device is said to reduce significantly the weight of anything suspended over it.
The claim -- which has been rigorously examined by scientists, and is due to appear in a physics journal next month -- could spark a technological revolution. By combatting gravity, the most ubiquitous force in the universe, everything from transport to power generation could be transformed
The Sunday Telegraph has learned that Nasa, the American space agency, is taking the claims seriously, and is funding research into how the anti-gravity effect could be turned into a means of flight.
The researchers at the Tampere University of Technology in Finland, who discovered the effect, say it could form the heart of a new power source, in which it is used to drive fluids past electricity-generating turbines

Hello THX

The idea has been around for many years. Plasma science application maybe one solution. That may require more energy than is practical.

Thanks Harry, and you are all too correct. Sadly I posted that before I even took the time to look at the date it was written / 1996 / I wish I could have removed it. Thank you very much for the link though, / much appreciated..

There are three known patents issued for antigravity devices.

Do some searching here at this board and you will come across the links.

Hello All

You know that if I post the secret link, I may have to kill you or distroy your computer in 5 seconds. This mission is impossible

ooops there was a quote mark on it. That was the secret key. Now I have to kill you.

I've found interesting projects to try at that website. The LIFTER for one was a successful science fair project.

Yes it does

Its dimension ratio is 4.75" high to 24" wide so I guess you would need to build one that is 96' diameter to get an external height of 17'. That should give sufficient internal clerance for headroom.

Hello All

Do I see strings holding them up.

Could this be the string theory.

Hello Craterchains

Its not the reading that bugs me,,,,,,,I do alot of that.

Its my dislexia that gives me a problem.

Sometimes my letters are backwards if you know what I mean.

This does not effect my thinking.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

As for the string theory that was a joke.

Hello Craterchains

I did not know that. Very interesting.

I will try to read from right to light or maybe look in the mirror.
