Mt. Wilson (MW) CONCAM status

The Mt. Wilson (MW) CONCAM2 has been running nearly continuously without human intervention since February 2003.

It appears the MW image is not updating, although the station status says "on" and the countdown timer appears to be functioning correctly. The last image is dated Feb 3 2005.

Thanks for pointing this out. On the MW page, there is a link to "log", which lists the local Mt. Wilson contact as Robert Cadman at cadman@mtwilson.edu.nospam. I will alert him of the problem. - RJN

The site manager for MW has been notified of problems with the Concam. Every effort is being made to return it to working operation.

Just a brief update. As of this posting MW still down, last image Feb 3 2005.

Just looked at the MW Concam and it appears some work is being done at this time. There are 4 new images in the archives, not good quality, blurry and no stars, but at least new with todays date and time 4Mar2005 @3:21:03UT.

MW is online and images are much better, still some weird distortions but good enough to return photometry.
