comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS)

Post by Prigent » Sat Oct 05, 2024 4:12 pm

This image shows comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) just before sunrise around 4:40 a.m.
She was photographed on September 29, 2024 on the island of Reunion, in the Indian Ocean, in the area of the volcano "Piton de la Fournaise" at 2300 m altitude, far from any light pollution.
For the details of the photographic capture, it is a stack of several images with exposures of 10 seconds each with an 85 mm lens.
The volcano appears at the bottom right of the image.
