You can lose a couple of hours following the movie set links from Lars homestead (Star Wars). But, this is a lovely construct IMHO. Sci-fi movies do prod the imagination.

Nice Star Wars trivia. But why is it called "Lars Homestead" in the movies? The Skywalkers lived there on Tatooine, not the Lars family. Wikipedia failed to enlighten me. See
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tatooine for several mentions of "Lars Homestead" but no explanation of the origin of the name.

Yeah, I did do that, but lazily (or stupidly!) I stopped looking at the first result, which was Wikipedia. I have to remember that Wikipedia is often not the be all and end all final reference material!

The Milky Way looks glorious in this APOD, but I'm not too happy about the meteor. A bright meteor would overwhelm the light from our galaxy, so the juxtaposition of the highly detailed Milky Way and the bright meteor makes the image look "very composite" to me.
