Almost 100 countries have their own satellites in space, but only about 15 of them are capable of launching satellites themselves.
According to this list, the leaders are:
The first place is for the U.S. (~3985).
The second one is Russia (~1532).
China is the third with its satellite industry (~506).
The fourth place is for the uk satellite industry (~404).
And the fifth in this list is Japan with its ~205 satellites on Earth's orbit.

Generally, there are about

6,542 satellites orbiting the Earth as of January 1, 2021. Out of which 3,372 satellites are active, and 3,170 satellites are inactive
