Latest and largest project of mine clocking in at 50 hours of exposure. It was great fun to go back to RGB for a bit and I really love both the targets pictured in the image.

From last year - the Milky Way and strong airglow from the dark sky park in the Beskid Mountains, Czech Republic
Let's recall last July, when the situation around the covid was relatively under control in our country. I remember that when I arrived at this place in Beskid Mountains, Gruň, not far from the place where we do the night sky observation for public, a group of about 10 people was lying on the road and enjoying the night sky. After the greetings, unpacking, and calibration of the camera and tracker, we started a small conversation about Comet Neowise and the Milky Way.
My explanation was probably so interesting that for a moment, everyone was standing around me, listening to a lecture on the night sky, which I gladly took, accompanied by sample photos from the spot. If only we could go back in time when everything was fine and we didn't have to be afraid of each other ...
This particular photo was taken later that night. As I went through the data after arriving home, it seemed broken. So „I kept it in the drawer“. Only today, after a thorough mathematical processing, did I discover that another beautiful view of the night sky was accompanied by really strong greenish airglow, which in my eye suddenly raised the value of this photograph several levels higher.

The moon is usually seen in subtle shades of gray or yellow.
The different colors are recognized as corresponding to real differences in the chemical composition of the lunar surface. Blue tones reveal areas rich in ilmenite, which contains iron, titanium and oxygen, mainly titanium, while orange and purple show regions relatively poor in titanium and iron.
White areas are higher areas that are more exposed to the sun.
Trips to the moon have already been indicated by similar images.

The different colors are recognized as corresponding to real differences in the chemical composition of the lunar surface. Blue tones reveal areas rich in ilmenite, which contains iron, titanium and oxygen, mainly titanium, while orange and purple show regions relatively poor in titanium and iron.
White areas are higher areas that are more exposed to the sun.
Trips to the moon have already been indicated by similar images.

Jellyfish Nebula IC443 , VdB 75 and IC444
IC443 (also known as the Jellyfish Nebula and Sharpless 248) is a galactic supernova remnant in the constellation Gemini. Also visible the blue reflection nebula VdB 75 and the IC444 (SH2-249).
This is a total of 22hours exposure in SHO elaborated then with Hubble Palette colors. For this subject I wanted a starless version as this emphasizes the beauty of the nebula but a complete starless image looses a lot of image details. I so de-emphasizes the stars wih two very well known tecniques and then I used a my simple tecnique that is very efficient to show stars less prominent without cancelling them as in a starless version.
The result so is more pleasant and real.

Here's NGC 5139, Omega Centauri, taken via remote scope at El Sauce in Chile. The details are ASA 500N on an AS DD85 mount with an FLI PL 16083 and 7x red, 6x green, and 7x blue through Astrodon Gen2 filters. I processed it in APP and Photoshop. Better resolution can be found here:

Abell 35 SHO RGB mix

We are glad to propose you this picture of Abell 35. It was taken with a Planewave CDK12.5 and a QHY600 M camera in Chile during several nights of january and february. The resulting image is a mix of RGB band images for the stars and HO images for the nebula itself.
As you are probably aware, Abell 35 still remains considered as PN on Simbad http://simbad.u-strasbg.fr/simbad/sim-i ... =submit+id but Jacoby had already raised questions about its true nature as early as 1981. Recent studies (after Frew and Parker, PASA, 27, 129, 2010) conclude that the nebula is a Stromgren sphere in the ambient ISM, ionized by a hot DAO white dwarf companion of BD – 22º 3467 which has recently evolved from the PN phase. The system produces a strong wind, probably from the fast, rotating subgiant which interacts with the inner zone of the emission nebula to produce a dramatic parabolic bow-shock aournd BD – 22º 3467 that is strongly visible in the OIII narrowband datas.

M81 Group by Dave & telescope, on Flickr
This is a wide field image of M81 Group containing M81, M82, NGC 3077 (upper left) and few PGC galaxies in the background. Also visible are Arp's loop off of the right end of M81 and some of the Integrated Flux Nebula in the background and to the right side of the image. This was about 15 hours of total integration time using broadband filters with a very fast (f /2.8) optical system with a focal length of 500mm. Location was Mayhill, NM.

SHARPLESS 2 301 in Canis Mayor
Located 6 degrees south east from Sirius in the constellation of Canis Mayor, Sh2-301 reveals an unusual shape that is best described as an irregular, three-lobed fog with thin lanes of dark nebulosity. A typical warm summer night from the southern hemisphere. The Ha channel was used only for the dim outside structure of the nebula. The central bright structure was processed in RGB to avoid saturation.
Image taken from Buenos Aires Suburbs with an OOUK 8" newtonian w/Televue Paracorr at f 5,75 and a QSI 583 WS
