Two processing versions :-) Again a never "ending story".
Notes: The Galaxy is more reddish than usual due to 40min of Ha info blended into the red CH. Exposures taken 21->23 April 2020. Total exposure time: 6.33 hours.

Starlink over Auriga, just fading out when entering Earth shadow. Since they have been just lunched recently, they have been still tightly packed together. There are M37 and M36 as well.

Venus Reflected
www.ancientskys.com
Copyright: Marc Toso Venus, the Roman Goddess of love and beauty, is viewed within the outer arm of our Milky Way. Canis Major on the far left, Orion The Hunter, Perseus just right of Venus, and finally Cassiopeia.

Their light reflected on earth in a small spring in Utah's western desert.

I love how the light of Venus, reflected light of our sun, glistens on algae, millions of miles from its source.

Photographing other planets, other stars, the big space around our planet, just trying to remind us the context of our planet.

Looking outwards to realize the rareness of our place in this bigness.

So many other places and spots out there. Boiling rocky planets, gas giants, ice covered ocean worlds. But as far as we know only here has chemistry form biochemistry. Green of photosynthesis. Motion of muscles. Endless networks of mycelium…

Looking outward at the endlessness around us I hope increases our love and of this place. This spot. This planet Earth.
I love photographing the colors of the night sky, but coolest astronomical thing I could ever photograph is our own planet

Highway to Heaven
Copyright: György Soponyai

Due to the quarantine of the current COVID-19 epidemic I had to find a quickly, easily accessible place that might act as astrophoto foreground so I chose this overcrossing bridge atop highway M3 that lies only 160 meters away from my home. Mogyoród is an Hungarian village (in)famous of being cut into two pieces by a highway (we also have the Hungaroring, a motorsport racetrack where the Formula One Hungarian Grand Prix is held every year).

NGC 5866 (M102 ?)

Some astronomical historian argue that M102 is a duplicate observation of M101. Others say the evidence points to NGC5866.

Maybe this is why NGC5866 is rarely imaged? This HST image from 2006 caught my attention...

https://hubblesite.org/image/1933/gallery

A FWHM of 1.86" on the stacked luminance helped me extract some of the detail in the core.

The moon and Venus

This lake close to the city of Ostrava in Czech Republic is one of my most favorite places I always love to visit. It is way better when I can observe and photograph this beautiful play between Moon and Venus, which took a place tonight.

Milky Way core over Fortaleza Canyon.
This night photography section at Canion Fortaleza was one of the most technically challenging I have ever participated in. Due to the fog that covered the 900 meters deep of this Canyon, the humility of the air was so great that it fogged the lenses before the end of the captures. Getting images with the landscape well exposed was an arduous task but we managed to produce some beautiful images.

After staying home in quarantine for 5 weeks, I decided to try taking star trails in Montreal which is considered a bortle 9. I picked a day where transparency is good and I shot from my balcony and the end result was just amazing.
