M64 Going into the gravity of the Blak Hole Eye Galaxy
The Black Eye Galaxy (also called Evil Eye Galaxy and designated Messier 64, M64, or NGC 4826) is a relatively isolated.
The Black Eye Galaxy, also known as Messier 64 (M64), is a famous spiral galaxy located in the constellation Coma Berenices.
The galaxy is also sometimes called the Evil Eye Galaxy or Sleeping Beauty Galaxy. It has the designation NGC 4826 in the New General.
Catalogue Messier 64 is also notable for being composed of two counter-rotating disks, roughly equal in mass. The inner disk contains the galaxy’s spectacular dust clouds and lanes. All the stars in the Black Eye Galaxy rotate in the same direction as the gas in M64’s core region, clockwise, while the gas in the outer regions rotates in the other direction.</r>

This is an image of the Soul Nebula, IC1848. It's a two panel mosaic taken in Linz, Austria. Roughly 30 hours of integration time went into this image. Hope you like it!

The planet Venus and the Pleiades star clusters over Althofen, Carinthia, Austria.
The sky was mostly cloudy that evening. Just for a brief moment, the sky dropped the veil of clouds and revealed the goddess of love and the seven sisters.

M51 In a wide field
This 1.5X1.5 wide field shows the beautiful M 51.
In this deep image you can find many small galaxies in the background.
This Northern object DEC +47 was suprisingly imaged from Namibia at 23 DEG SOUTH!!!
Due to the absolute darkest skies in Tivoli - some frames were imaged 8 degrees above the horizon!
It took 7 nights with about 50 min per night (when the galaxy was at the zenith) to produce this unique image.

NGC 6302, also called Butterfly Nebula, is a bipolar planetary nebula in the constellation Scorpius. The structure in the nebula is among the most complex ever observed in planetary nebulae. The spectrum of NGC 6302 shows that its central star is one of the hottest stars known, with a surface temperature in excess of 250,000 degrees Celsius, implying that the star from which it formed must have been very large. This photo was obtained by processing the Hubble data with Pixinsight using:
- R = F658n
- G = F673n
- B = F656n
we also enhanced the R and B channels using the F479n data.
