analemma 2019, included three type solar eclipses
This image is the solar analemma for 2019, included three type solar eclipses.
Partial eclipse of January 6
Total eclipse of July 2
Annular eclipse of December 26
I succeeded in photographing the sun 320 days a year at an all-weather mini-observatory in Marugame City, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan. This includes the partial eclipse on January 6.

Quadrantid Meteor Shower
Although I had no plans to go and observe/image the specific meteor shower because it's very challenging due to the season that occurs, we had crystal clear skies in Rodokipos Halkidiki Greece that it was too tempting not to go out and give it a try. I started m one hour trip to the observing location and when I arrived I immediately observed the sky for indications of any meteors and it was clear that it was a very active meteor shower. As usual, when observing a meteor shower I made a comfortable place to lay down and under many warm layers of clothes, I had my watch and warm tea in order to measure the ZH rate.
The weather was clear cold and dry and this motivated me to go out at -3 Celsius (26.6F) and make a few images just in case we had some good ZHR rate. I started imaging at 01:30 UT and finished after the sunrise measuring the ZHR and admiring the show. The speed of the meteors was not the same but all of them was not that fast and bright. There were many faint ones not shown in the image as well. I also noticed periods of bursts and longer intervals with no activity. Except for an ISS pass which isn't visible in this image, I had to check more than 700 images with many satellites which were very tedious to recognize and reject. I measured a maximum ZHR of 125 meteors around 03:40UT in my observing location.
