Sometimes, we are asked about how a northern light looks like. Well... this is exactly how it is when you look up during an aurora display, even with pink flashes.
This video was recorded on 10th, during a G1 minor solar storm. It was 500 m from the border in beetween Norway and Finland, near the lappish towm of Kilpisjärvi.
Such an incredible show.

Viewed from Northampton, Massachusetts, USA. Photographed through a home-made 6" f/8 Newtonian telescope and Canon 60Da camera. Exposures range from 1/1000 sec to 1 sec at ISO 400. The night was very cold, about 0F (-18C), and very clear.
This image sequence clearly shows the Starlink satellites as they passed over Arizona on May 26 2019. Although the satellites themselves are streaked you can still clearly differentiate them and see the train as it flies by. You can also see that the train is starting to separate and the inclination of the individual satellites changing. It seems the objects at the end of the train have shifted the furthest from the lead orbit. I shot the images with a DSLR while I was observing at the Kuiper 61in telescope on Mt Bigelow, north of Tucson AZ.
Had some clear skies and was able to capture the ISS moving in-front of the moon early this morning. This was my first attempt at capturing a transit. Was in complete awe watching it happen.
Captured with my Fuji Xt-3 and Canon FD 150-600mm lens with 1.4X teleconverter.
A VR flight through the Universe, using real data from the ALFALFA survey and Sloan Digital Sky Survey. 30,086 galaxies all shown using their correct, unique images, with the camera moving at a speed equivalent to 500 trillion times faster than light. You'll need a headset to view this in its full glory, but it will still play in a regular browser (you can even use the old style red/blue glasses if you want). I was at Tololo during the total solar eclipse, and we made a video with Arnaud Thiry (Astronogeek), using a drone and other cameras.
Astronogeek is a french famous youtube chanel with more than 500 000 followers.
The guy that you can see in the video with his telescope is a friend of us, Nicolas Lefaudeux. You already know him : you published 2 of his pictures as an APOD after 2017 eclipse in USA : https://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap190130.html His new challenge is to obtain a better image, it will take him a couple of months to process it.
You can clearly see the shadow coming from the ocean and geting inside the valley before arriving at Tololo.

A Magical journey under the Stars from the island of Rapanui to unbelievable Patagonia and from endless Salt Flats of Uyuni to the land of the Incas.
-I truly love Easter Island especially Ahu Tongariki, I went up there several times just to the the Perfect shot with my 85mm f1.2 and the LMC (Large Magellanic Cloud) near it.
Also there are shots with SMC (Small Magellanic Cloud), off-course with both of them.
In my Page you can also see a big Shooting Star just in the middle of them with Ahu Tongariki under it.
-There are several aerial captures from Rapanui but there is also the "Fallen Moai" that I love with view both Ahu Tongariki and Rano Raraku.
-Torres Dell Paine in Patagonia Chile is just unbelievable! As the morning Sun is touching the "Horns" or the Red light of the Sunset touches Torres Dell Paine.... Just watch it!
-What can I say, what can I right... Bolivia is just Amazing! Love it! The Nature, the Salt Flats, the Landscapes is absolutely Amazing!
-And for the last ...just a little Machu Picchu and Waqrapukara everybody knows the Incas!
-Now lets Dance! We already said about LMC and SMC but the upside down Constellations and the Milkyway up the to center of the Sky! Wow! Wow! Atacama was fantastic! The Sky was super dark and super cold, we enjoy it at Vulcan Putana at -12°C with the Greek Team and off-course at the Hand of the Desert(but there was so many cars up-there).
-The Highlight! TSE 2019! Total Solar Eclipse was the best of the Trip! We saw it at La Higuera, Chile
