My apology in advance if this topic has already been addressed.
Why is the default sort order for The Observation Deck ascending, rather than descending, for the current month?
If it was descending, it would be easier to view the latest image posted, rather than having to go to the last page button and then scroll to the bottom (or scroll to the bottom and enter descending).

It's due to the way threading in the forum works. It was never really meant to be a gallery, so it makes sense to show the oldest "conversation" first. That said, there are little page-shaped icons you can click on to view the latest unread post or the last post in the thread without having to scroll far.
Just call me "geck" because "zilla" is like a last name.

You are not alone. They are very small, and often overlooked. It could probably use a bit of a redesign.
