NGC 6726 in Corona Australis
This beautiful star forming region in the constellation Corona Australis has so much to offer, with many outstanding nebula and unusual objects. One of the more dynamic and colorful areas in the southern sky.
It features NGC 2726-27 a blue reflection nebula which are clouds of interstellar dust lit up by the bright nearby stars and IC 4812 is another.
NGC 6729 is the diamond shaped object which is an Emission/Reflection nebula object that is also a variable nebula.
Bernes 157 and SL 41 are areas called Dark Nebula interstellar clouds that are dense enough to obscure the light from behind.
Herbig-Haro or HH objects are small patches of nebulosity linked to new born stars. Stars that are or have ejected gas and that gas collides with nearby clouds of gas at enormous speeds. There are many of these objects in this image.
Taken at SSRO in CTIO, Chile
Telescope: 16" RCOS, FLI 16803, Planewave 200HR CTIO Chile.
21 Hours Luminance, 14.5 Red, 13.5 Green, 13.5 Blue
62 Hours Total

Hello
The “iTelescope – Portugal” group is a portuguese group made up of several amateur astronomers, who contribute to the acquisition of data through a remote service, provided by an observatory located in Siding Spring, Australia. Using this observatory, it is possible to photograph astronomical objects that are only visible in the southern hemisphere. The data obtained are distributed by the elements of the group for further processing. The photos published here result from my post-processing of the acquired data.

Moonset in 15 Minutes
copyright: György Soponyai
Europe is recently suffering the extreme heat coming from the South. Besides warm air the winds have blown a lot of Saharan dust that makes the moonsets very colorful.
This is some kind of experimental photo as using long exposure times I have always been preferring star stacking instead of one long shot.
With a telephoto lens the 1 - 1.5 second gaps between the frames would have been causing ugly discontinuity. On the third night of the project I finally figured out the perfect camera settings and this photo is the result:

The Red, Orange and Blue of the Cave Nebula region, a 46 hr HaRGB image from Portugal.
The Red, Orange and Blue of the Cave Nebula region. by Kees Scherer, on Flickr
The Cave Nebula (Sh2-155) is a Hydrogen cloud (in the center) with a brighter rim and a star forming region in the large molecular cloud known as Cepheus B. The stars of the Cepheus OB3 association are less than 100,000 years old. Low mass star formation is occurring at a high rate within the dust clouds of Sh2-155. The blue reflection nebula (lower left) is VDB-155.
Just south (in this image to the left) of the Cave nebula we can see some strange orange Nebulosity, the home of some Herbig Haro Objects. HH168, HH169 and HH174 are locations, where a star is born, still surrounded by dust and nebulosity, already shaped into a rotating disk. This material blocks the light of the new-born stars and the pressure can be released only at the disk poles and Jets of material are escaping from their northern and southern poles.
