The Rosette Nebula

Explanation: Would the Rosette Nebula by any other name look as sweet? The bland New General Catalog designation of NGC 2237 doesn't appear to diminish the appearance of this flowery emission nebula. Inside the nebula lies an open cluster of bright young stars designated NGC 2244. These stars formed about four million years ago from the nebular material and their stellar winds are clearing a hole in the nebula's center, insulated by a layer of dust and hot gas. Ultraviolet light from the hot cluster stars causes the surrounding nebula to glow. The Rosette Nebula spans about 100 light-years across, lies about 5000 light-years away, and can be seen with a small telescope towards the constellation of the Unicorn (Monoceros).

The stars of NGC 2244 look to me like statins flowing through an artery, clearing it out.

This nebula is owned by my wife. I gave it to her as a fun little Valentines's Day present many years ago.

She thought it was nice. And rather sweet.

In about an hour the wife is getting one of those dipping drinking bird with the epanding liquid. Perpetual motion machine but not really, heat is required and something has to heat and cool the system.I learned something in school and it is paying off.

I hadn't heard of drinking birds until this Simpsons episode explained to me how it worked - and now you just explained how it will stop working!

Hmm, probably wouldn't work in my room. It's freezing in here.
Even my radiometer has stopped rotating, though that might have something to do with it being dark here and
old Sol being blocked by a rather large planet.

I'm the "Guest" with the wife who owns the Rosette. In addition to that, she also owns a comet and a rather large but
distant galaxy ( ... due to light-speed lag this is seen as it was a long time ago and from far away ...).

I was thinking of giving her something bigger than a galaxy for one Valentine's Day but I was rather at a loss as to how I would
wrap a Universe.
The notion presents logical imponderables.
