NGC 7380 - the Wizard Nebula in HaOiiiLRGB
Copyright Scott Rosen. Website: http://www.astronomersdoitinthedark.com/
Full Resolution Version
Discovered in 1787 by Caroline Herschel, NGC 7380 is the open star cluster embedded within the emission nebula known as the Wizard Nebula. The stars within the cluster were formed from this surrounding nebula. Covering about a half a degree of sky (about the same as the Full Moon) in the constellation of Cepheus, the nebula shines brightly in the red light of glowing Hydrogen gas. There is also a strong Oxygen III component, showing in this image as a light blue color.

LDN 1235, vdB149, vdB150 (The Shark Nebula).
Copyright: Sebastiano Recupero
LDN 1235 is a molecular cloud in the Cepheus constellation, likely an extended red emission nebula (ERE), that outshines through photoluminescence when dust particles are hit by high-energy UV radiation. Within its border, there are two reflection nebulae, vdB149 e vdB150 (van den Bergh catalog), respectively illuminated by the stars BD+72 1018 and HD 210806, both with a spectral type B8IV, which give the surrounding gas and dust a markedly bluish color. In the field two small galaxies are also visible, PGC67671 and PGC67347, that appear yellowish because their light, crossing the gas and dust along the line of sight, loses part of its spectrum.

Re: Submissions: 2016 September
If you want to ask me where the nightsky is the most beautiful in New Zealand? In fact, as long as the light from throughout the city, are very beautiful, like the mystery of the night sky Tekapo, bright. Even, sometimes, I think that lying in Oumarou's mid park lawn, one side is the city lights, the other side is the hundreds of millions of light-years stars, you should carefully compare, perhaps really no par. However, this picture stars, it is north of the Takaka night, a person sitting on the side of the mountain to see the wind in the Milky Way fall into the mountains, well, probably the local people do not know, so they grew familiar with the stars in the sky, there are people waiting in the night.

Tales of Active Region 1471 of 2012 (Painting)
I traced the story of sunspot cluster AR 1471/2012 (thanks to SDO/HMI imagery) with daily 2D drawings cumulated into a columnar 'chronotactic' (time-arrangement) narrative structure, painted with knife. Umbrae are set in penumbral envelopes. Here Time flows upwards.Re: Submissions: 2016 September

Today's Penumbral Moon Eclipse.
I was shooting the eclipse, and while I waited for the moon to rise a little more I went to the bathroom, when I got back, I noticed that there was a plane passing by, and rushed to shoot it, leaving us with this photography. When I saw it on my camera, I was very hyped, that I got a photography like this
Hope you like it
