New Horizons, a super compct car with an enormous rocket took 9 years to get to Pluto, and that was iffy the last week or so

Space X will launch MIT's next transit observer next year I heard this weekend. On a shoestring budget in the millions rather than billions of Kepler. Quite a design feat.
