Stem and Pipe Nebulae consist of Barnard 59, 65, 66, 67 and 78 located in Ophiuchus. This 17.7 x 11.8 degree image shows another 53 Barnard nebulae in addition to the Stem and Pipe. Check out the annotated image for the locations of all of these.

Dear deep-sky image friends,
today I'd like to show my latest images of Sharpless 132. This objekt is not shown very often
and as a special, there is also a tiny little planetary nebula at the lower left corner visible - Abell 79

Stellar Travel
Travelling isn't easy, I had to take a bus, to travel more than 24 hours for my next astrophotography site. I was at Cordoba, Bosque Alegre Observatory last week, but I couldn't do any image since it was a cloudy week, an unpredicted weather. I really hope clear skies this time, traveling long distances is a need for astrophotographers that live inside big cities to get as far as we can from light pollution areas, on my way to Trelew, Argentina, I witnessed the shinnest sky ever while I was crossing the Argentinian Pampa, since the bus was full of people, I couln't ask the driver to stop, but I was tempted too, so, I had take a look over the window. The window was really dirty while I captured the constellation of The Canis Majoris, but the image was really unpresentable, so I decided to check my Milky Way shots and I used an old Milky Way shot to try to show the feeling I had while traveling during the night under billions of stars. So this is a composition of two images, the original image, shows the same person (me) while in the sky, Canis Majoris shines trought the dirty window, i took the sky out and replaced the sky with the old Milky Way Shot. So I hope I was able to transmit the feeling of traveling under the stars.

Stars harvesting
Hello to all observers,
All the fields now in Greece are been harvested and all that is left are the harvesting remnants. I've had the opportunity to make an image before they where processed by big tractors and when proceesing I've noticed the intense sky glow that was in the scene but couldn't see it with my eyes.
Keep looking high
