For those with an interest, I was happy to see Nova's newly aired episode reviewing the hunt for the Higgs particle with the LHC on last night – at least in our area. I thought it did a great job reviewing the tremendously large job to uncover the evidence to prove the existence of the Higgs boson and, showing in layman's terms, how they thought they had succeeded. For those lucky enough to have been there recently, it might have been especially rewarding.

Re: Nova- Big Bang Machine
I too enjoyed it. They did a good job of explaining how the hunt was narrowed down with increasing energy in the colliders. As well, they managed to convey the excitement when the announcement was finally made, and the pride that all took in the acheivement. I wish all science programming could be so well done.
