Re: Submissions: 2014 October
Hello to everybody,
Here you have my first light, after one year working with my fix observatory located in the town of Àger-Lleida-Spain.
In astronomy, the Pleiades, or Seven Sisters (Messier 45 or M45), is an open star cluster containing middle-aged hot B-type stars located in the constellation of Taurus. It is among the nearest star clusters to Earth and is the cluster most obvious to the naked eye in the night sky. The celestial entity has several meanings in different cultures and traditions.

Seeing: 3/5
SQM : 21.3 mag/arcsec
Mount: Losmandy G11 Gemini II (Ovision)
Telescope: Takahashi Epsilon 180 ED
Càmera: Canon 5D Mark II mod.
Exposures: 30 x 300 seg ISO 800
Software: APT 2.6 Astro Photography Tool
Software guiding: TheSkyX
Software: Pixinsight 1.8

A couple of images I thought looked neat - M8 and the Cygnus Wall of NGC 7000.

Re: Submissions: 2014 October
I was asked which image had impressed me more in my Astrophotography career.
Well, The Great Jaguar in Tikal, Peten 2012, my second experience doing wieldfield Astrophotography in dark skies. that night was my best school, where my experience started to be build, for example, blurred stars, the amount of noise in the picture and the few details of the GJ that I failed to capture. I can go back a thousand times and if there were no dangerous animals.. I'll live happily in a tree house in the place near from there and really close to a river.
