Abell 2218
Copyright: Team ATRS (Austrian Team Remote Spain)

Our Goal was to show the Gravitational Lensing in this Cluster of Galaxies with our relatively small Setup. The Picture was taken with a 14" Newton with a focal ratio of 3,85 in our Remote Observatory in Nerpio, Spain from 19.05 - 22.06.2014. Total Exposure was about 36 Hours...

The total field: the Field with magnified Galaxy Cluster to see Gravitational Lensing: an Animation that compares the Luminance of our Picture to the Photo of this Region that was taken by Hubble...: Clear Skies

The Colors of Andromeda

Post by Bersonic » Tue Jul 01, 2014 10:42 pm

M31 The Andromeda Galaxy. Taken at the Golden State Star Party.

I'm a 16 year old astrophotographer. This was my second attempt at this target. A goal of mine was to try to find all the globular cluster orbiting M31. See if you can find them :)
