I think the way data gets from a satellite like Hubble down to terra firma is largely unknown and unappreciated by lay persons. Who even knows what the TDRSS is? This is from a Frontier Fields blog entry.

Interestingly, although this nebula is included in the Sharpless catalogue of HII regions, it is actually a reflection nebula.
