Pic taken on 5th October from "Serra del Montsec" (Lleida, Spain) during the Draconids meteor shower. The trail of a meteor is crossing nearby the Milky Way field.

Montsec is a Starlight Destination and Reserve, and it has one of the most clean skies of South Europe.

Photo taken with Nikon D7100 + Tokina 11-16mm, f/2.8, 30 sec., 3200 ISO.

Comet ISON C/2012 S1 On October 9th, 08:48-09:30ut. Conditions were slightly below average conditions, High altitude clouds (ice crytals) due to rainy conditions currently. Wow, pretty good photo of the parahelic circle. I was going to ask what the antisolar diffuse arcs are called but when I looked up the word antisolar to ensure I was using the correct word to ask my question with I found the answer. The diffuse arcs are very clear!
Just call me "geck" because "zilla" is like a last name.

We managed to catch ISS just before it transited the Moon on Friday (11 October 2013).
