How many different types of clouds are there in this picture of Mt. Fuji? I just took this on my tablet.

Clicking on the picture to get the bigger one, even i can tell there are at least 5 different types of clouds. I just don't know any names to go with them.

I'll name the clouds depicted here in posts that form an asterlist...

The first one is lenticular, and next we have a pileus...

Even though it looks like there are more types present I'd say there are only two. Stratocumulus with a few of them lying low to the ground and one lonely lenticular.

I think you're right. I thought that upper left patch was a thicker part of the cloud layer but it does seem to be a break to the sky.

There are more clouds on Fuji than I'll say right now -- it's quite insane

Then pray tell, you should go listen to Praetorious, before it begins to rain.

I have the same problem by the way...My computer noise...starts to turn into music...anything and everything...quite annoying...this is a transference of acoustical energy, and entrainment by the brain...then it mimics it back for us....even when there is no music, or computer noise, this is an embeddment of the energy in the brain and mind, it clings to it ... I have a technique...it works some what....but not always...the only other option I have found is.....HUM SOMETHING ELSE FOR A WHILE!!!!!!

Thanks for your expertise....

I have to say it's rare that G&S takes over, because I don't know their output very well, save for one or two songs, but there was just something in the pattern of cloud names that came to mind that sent me down that path.
