APOD: Venus' Once Molten Surface (2013 Jun 23)
Re: APOD: Venus' Once Molten Surface (2013 Jun 23)
Thank you APOD presenters for the attention getting fiery image which grabbed my attention.
Thank you Geckzilla for the greens and browns which presented another image for my mind to view in another way, and it was the same image.
The greens and browns presented the landscape on a scale which made the discussions of the heat planes make sense to me. Until then, those parts of "discuss" were going over my head.
Based on the original pic, I don't think I want to buy property and build a home there at this time. G's pic shows that nice English Countryside a good land developer might be able to create. But the discussion shows getting the water to water the grass could be a bit of a challenge.
Thank you all for your contributions and discussions.

I like that. Here's my quick cut at a more visually natural version.geckzilla wrote:Ahhh, there we go. Now it's a quaint, grassy Venus.

That's just missing one thing.
Just call me "geck" because "zilla" is like a last name.
