Three forty nine;

Pay at the pump;

Pay at the pump,
or pay inside!
You gotta buy gas,
if you want to ride! :mrgreen: :wink:
Don't know what you guys are paying; but I don't drive unless I feel I need to. Prices will probably be higher this summer! :evil:

The horse fuel may be a bit cheaper, but ... I dunno, somehow I ended up on a Wikipedia article about geldings and it went into much too specific detail on the maintenance they occasionally require. :shock:

I don't drive and I don't have a car, but I think that the price of gas in Sweden is about two dollars per liter. 1 liter = 0,264172052 gallon. So if you came here, you would pay about seven or eight dollars per gallon.

$3.49 USD per gallon is just over $.92 CAD per liter here. But when I filled up a few days ago I paid $1.37 a liter or about $5.19 a gallon for you.

Be happy!

The actual mileage can be excellent. The problem is, you've got to keep putting in the bales, all the time, whether you ride or not. Imagine your car required a few gallons of gas every day, even if you didn't use it!

For those of you who don't know about it, there is a web page where you can find the cheapest gas prices for most areas in the US and Canada, GasBuddy.com. You can also report gas prices at stations in your area to help keep the prices current.

Problem is I'm not going to burn out 3 gallons of gas to save 10 cents. :cry: If I were going on a trip or something than it probably be worth checking into! :wink:

When I'm close to needing gas and going to run errands, I check before I leave to find the lowest gas prices that are near my route of travel.

True, but we also have high fuel taxes - ranging from 50% higher to over 100% higher than in the USA. (I think the same is true in Europe.) Fuel pricing is a complicated subject, based as it is on the vagueries of markets and the opinions of politicians. Rather than fuss about it, I just shrug and pay.

People would still drain their wallets if gasoline cost 1 cent per gallon. How many people do you know who can fill the entire floor of their walk-in closet with shoes? How about those trips to have a nice dinner where the drinks cost just as much as the food itself? Gasoline is a lot more important and useful than ten redundant pairs of shoes or a $6.50 bottle of imported beer and yet somehow the price of gas is a constant source of grief despite it still being cost-efficient for what you get out of it even as the price gets higher. I'm not even saying sacrifice every fun thing to buy gas... just.. you know.. we have it pretty good here. Try the Oregon Trail if you want to complain.
