Cute, a. [An abbrev. of acute.] Clever; sharp; shrewd; ingenious; cunning. (Webster's 1913)

Obtuse, a. [L. obtusus, p.p. of obtundere to blunt: cf. F. obtus.] (Webster's 1913)
  • 1. Not pointed or acute; blunt;
    . -- applied esp. to angles greater than a right angle, or containing more than ninety degrees.
    2. Not having acute sensibility or perceptions; dull; stupid; as, obtuse senses. Milton.
    3. Dull; deadened; as, obtuse sound. Johnson.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    • George Eliot. (1819–1880). The Mill on the Floss.
      The Harvard Classics Shelf of Fiction. 1917.

      Book I—Boy and Girl II. Mr. Tulliver, of Dorlcote Mill, Declares His Resolution about Tom
    The little un takes after my side, now: she’s twice as ’cute as Tom. Too ’cute for a woman, I’m afraid,” continued Mr. Tulliver, turning his head dubiously first on one side and then on the other. “It’s no mischief much while she’s a little un; but an over-’cute woman’s no better nor a long-tailed sheep,—she’ll fetch none the bigger price for that.”

    Nemo is a Latin word meaning "no one".

Reminds of a Rube Goldberg machine. I've never heard of Winsor McCay.

Clearly I should have said today's Google logo is charming rather than cute, and Art, indeed you aren't cute right now, nor charming! :evil:
