Who took this, and where?

Post by callaharj » Thu Oct 04, 2012 5:19 pm

Has anyone else seen this picture before? I'm curious who took it and more importantly where it was taken...

I've searched APOD and TWAN and have come up empty handed...

Drag a copy of that image onto your desktop. Go to google.com, click the Images tab at the top, and drag your image copy into the search area in Google. Google will find similar images. Down at the bottom of page one you'll see a link to that image on Jon Talbot's Astrophoto.com site.

Wow. Technology is amazing. Thanks so much for the fish and teaching me how to get it!

You're welcome. I only discovered this a few months ago myself. It's obvious once you see it in action, but the code beneath the surface must be quite extraodinary.
