Oh great. I thought it ended at 11 UTC. Or did it begin at that time?

The image says it was taken at 2012/6/5 14:02:37
But how do you know the user timezone and whether his camera's time is set correctly?
If he is CST then it was taken at 19:02 UTC and the eclipse began at roughly 20:02 UTC.

He posted his image before the transit even began. The timestamp on the post itself is accurate. So, unless he's a time traveler...

Oh good, we have our own thread of derailment, now. I am going to use it to say that the Venus Transit submissions are all great and some of them are just amazing. It's also surprising how common airplanes intersected with the transit.

Why only one transit when one can have two? Here is my transit of the Hubble Space Telescope in the middle of the transit of Venus, taken from Australia (Queensland)

GREAT IDEA!!!

1600 kms in auto, to Mérida at Oropesa del Mar (from end to end of Spain), 3 days of permission in the work. I was having something more 17 ' Venus's transit across the Sun, them 6h 37 ' 59 " at 6h 55 ' 33 " local time (June, 6th). I come to the place chosen two hours before. I fit the focus (ultimately, I chose one focal equivalent to 800mm).

In the East the thing does not do well. Not well at all... Photography at 6h 40', in full transit:

At least the photography refers to my pseudonym. With the anger that I have sure that I come to the near transit in 105 years. Congratulations to that yes you it have obtained. Magnificent works.
