Is this an Iridescent Cloud!?

Post by Amir » Sun Mar 04, 2012 12:14 pm

I'm about to enter a physics photography contest and i thought of a picture that I think I took of an iridescent cloud.
but since I was hesitant about the cloud being an iridescent, I wanted to ask wether anyone can confirm it.

it was around 11AM if that matters and the cloud was like ~20 degrees from the sun.
here is another shot

Amir, I think you have a gorgeous circumhorizon arc.

That's really a lovely, lovely shot!

Here's a very fine display of iridescence.

So is that a 22º halo with the circumhorizon arc?
Just call me "geck" because "zilla" is like a last name.
