I was wondering who has the most APOD awarded. I've googled it but haven't found anything.
So I made a script that searches through the whole APOD history and groups together the copyright holders in categories.
This is how the grouping was made:
- all the names (of copyright holders) that share the same email address or website, even if they are not the same will be in the same group.
- all the links shared by the same copyright holder (or author) will be in the same group, and will bring in the group all the names associated with them.
The list is far from perfect. Unfortunately, because of the algorithm I used, the first groups are a lot bigger than they should have been. The chart becomes more relevant after you get past top 20.
