I just have time for a quick comment. Adam, you know that I'm always very happy to see you here, and Cederblad 90 is a fascinating nebula. It looks like half a hula hoop, or maybe a distorted pacifier! I've never seen that nebula before. Thanks for photographing it! :D

Rolf Wahl Olsen, I'm so impressed! That you for your great image and your fascinating description. I must say that today amateurs are taking images that look about as good as many images made with large telescopes, at least to my untrained eye!

Tell me, Rolf, what would you say the magnitude might be of those background stars that are also seen in your image?

Object X ???

When I looked over the images I collected last night (11/17/2011) I saw an
object that appears quite a bit larger than asteroids I've seen in the past. I
did some quick research to see if this object X was already cataloged and
couldn't find it.

Here's a "blinked" gif anim: http://fth.bounceme.net/_temp/objectx.gif

Can anyone in the group positively identify it?

If so please pop me an email....

Ra 05 07 45 Dec +34 20 12 The gif consists of two 1000s Halpha exposures.

Thanks,

Fred
