Listening for meteors

Every time a meteor shower is predicted, here in the North West UK, it's raining.

So next time there is one, and the Orionids are predicted for this weekend, I'm going to the Space Weather site, and their link to the US Air Force Space Surveillance Radar. They're looking up into the sky over Texas, but I can't see a thing here so I might as well!

I am in the same boat; the only "big" one I get to see regularly is the Perseid shower in August. It's usually overcast here in November so I've never seen a Leonid shower..
