Orin, by the way, I love your coffee video. Particularly the "coffee pot houses". Maybe we could have a tub of coffee with beyond's lobster, eh?

No, wait - we are not allowed to eat beyond's lobster! So maybe we can have a tub of coffee while we admire beyond's lobster, then?

It is a big one. 8-)
I've never eaten lobster; and since we can't eat it maybe we can have traditional doughnuts with our coffee.

I try never to eat anything that could shake (or mutilate) my hand, so definitely I'd go with the donuts. As if you didn't know that anyway.

We are celebrating the Malmö festival, also known as the Back to School festival, right now. Lots of interesting and tasty food is sold on the streets. Today I had something called "American Spin Ice" (I'll bet that's an awkward Swedish way of trying to speak English); anyway, it was a tall tower of vanilla and chocolate ice cream, tightly spun and twisted together. The twisted tower of ice cream was served with fresh strawberries, fresh blueberries, preserved peach, whipped cream, a bit of strawberry topping and wafers.

Image
About an hour after I had eaten all that ice cream and stuff I had some juice chicken fillets which had been fried with red onions and sweet peppers, served with a champagne and saffron white chocolate sauce. Seriously, this
isn't what I ate, but at least the picture is rather representative of the kind of food that is typically served at the Malmö Festival.

When I didn't eat, I saw a delightful outdoor miming performance about dogs in love, slightly reminiscent of Lady and the Tramp.

These dogs were irresistible.

Today was also the official Lighthouse Day, and many lighthouses were open for visitors. I visited one of the lighthouses in Malmö. You had a good view from up there! :D

Methinks tis time for a bike trip to the confectioners establishment. The good news is that you burn off the colories before you get to the "better" news, eating them. That way there's nothing to feel guilty about. Well, for a half-dozen or less, anyway. :D

Hey, I burned off some of the calories I had ingested by walking up all those steps to the top of the lighthouse!

Nope! It won't do at all, Ann. It's from ground level.

That's just tooooo low, and it's not even from the inside :!: :!:

Inside! You wouldn't want to see inside. The lighthouse is tall and thin. There is a narrow, vertigo-inducing spiral staircase winding all the way to the top, with banisters on one side only. Getting up was bad. Getting down was worse!!

Even though it may be fun to see the inside of a light house, i asked "where's the photos from the view at the top". You showed a picture from the outside in, not from the inside out, and from ground level. I forgot they have a balcony, so you don't actually have to be inside to take a picture of the view that is outside.

Hmm... If you don't know how to upload images, how do you post all the pictures you post?

beyond, Ann links to images that are already online. There are two ways to have an image appear in a post: link to one that is online already (using one of the img tags) or attach it, which means uploading it.

Ah.... I didn't know that. Thanks for the explanation O wise one. I've always attached the pictures. But sometimes the same picture was in the article that i linked to. I've never linked to just a picture through the image thingies. I've never really unstood those things. Thanks for giving a Hoot :!:

Both plants and animals must believe in global warming. Both are moving up in altitude and northward. I didn't know that plants were 'that' intelligent.
