Beauty of Space
While surfing the net I found this! I thought it was pretty neat.

Re: Beauty of Space
I've always really liked astrophotography images that include elements of the horizon - trees, edges of mountains, ect, even though they often show us what we can't see with our eyes. Of course, what you can see with your eyes - in dark, remote areas away from light pollution - is an incredible experience in and of itself.
I would really like to see the auroras one day. I was in Alaska once but it was in the middle of summer! The sky never got dark enough to see stars let alone auroras.
Light pollution is a growing problem; I don't think it's one most people worry about however. In some cases, well designed high efficiency lighting can save energy while reducing light pollution (avoiding globe lights, using automatic sensors, ect).
