Rained all day yesterday; and is raining now. :( I'm wishing for a few dry days! It's getting to be dreary!

I got home from work last night, immediately changed into biking stuff, and then learned we were under a severe thunderstorm watch. I was able to ride around the block once and up and down the street a couple of times before a great lashing, crashing thunderstorm rolled in. I was watching it approach as I rode my ONE mile (one mile!) and got the bike into the shed and me into the house just as the rain started.

It's brilliantly sunny and muggy today. I'll get a ride in in the heat of the day, as we're forecast to have storms again later.

Orin, I hope the weather holds for you and granddaughter, and I hope she has a blast playing!

Sunny here, and 73° currently, forecast to go up to 88°. Next three days are forecast to be in the 90s. Good thing the pool opened this weekend!

It's been misty and drizzly all day; but they got the soccer games in. My granddaughter team was fortunate enough to win all their games to win the tournament. The girls were elated and grandpa and grandma enjoyed watching! 8-)
I hope tomorrow is nicer for decorating the cemeteries. We can use a reprieve on the precipitation. :(

It was about 90' here today. Supposed to be at least that tomorrow. Boy, i sure could use some of the 4-feet of compacted snow that was on my front lawn this winter.

You didn't like the snow when you had it!

Only 81° here; I suppose I should go take a bike ride so I'm not out when the bats are. There are a couple of places on the trail where I've gotten buzzed by bats, and one of them flew into me when I was riding Wednesday night.

Ha-ha, i didn't like the snow too much because it was the middle of winter. Now, I'd like it just fine. 8-) I also don't like 90' days, NOW. But around January or Febuary, they would be just fine. 8-)

It's 86°F here, with a forecast of 93°F or higher; we're under a heat advisory (heat index 100-105°F) from noon today until 8 PM tomorrow. It's clear and sunny and I probably will not go biking this afternoon. (But perhaps I'll go tonight. :D )

On my FoxcastFox tool bar:

50 and rain. Later 62 and rain. Tonight 45 and rain. Tomorrow 64 and rain. Thursday 61 and rain.

BUT...

Friday 71 and partly sunny?

COULD IT BE?

Actually we did have a break in the clouds yesterday. It was cool but at least we got some sun. They keep saying "oh, we have a dry spell coming up.."

The sky is an unusual colour today -- blue. And there's something hot and glaring up there in the middle of it. What is that thing?

Highs to be in the 90 for three days; then thunder storms for a few days. :? As long as those twisters stay away; I'll be content. Those darn things can mesmerize me. Which isn't to practical.

The weather guys are threatining New England with record tempretures tomorrow, up in the 90's. I got my ride mower back from repair today and cut part of my tall grass, sweated like crazy and half fried what little brain i got left, even with a hat on. IF i'm going to finish cutting my grass tomorrow, I'm going to have to do it in the morning, when it's only in the 80's, like today. Home airconditioner, don't fail me now!!

We had a thunder storm the other evening. I saw a few flashes; it was just cloud-to-cloud.

In general the weather around here has greatly improved! We had some really nice days last week and more are on the way - partly cloudy and in the low 70's.

<<A bicyclist who was struck by a falling tree and killed during Sunday night’s thunderstorms was passing through upper Montgomery County on a two-day bike trip with a friend, police said. Neil R. Reich, 56, of Forrest Hills, N.Y., was biking from Harpers Ferry, W.Va., to Washington with a friend when the weather worsened, according to National Park Service spokesman Bill Line. About 7:50 p.m., Reich stopped to put on his rain coat on the C&O Canal towpath near White’s Ferry as rain drops started falling, Line said. His friend continued biking along the towpath for a bit and stopped to wait for Reich. When Reich did not arrive, his friend retraced his path, found Reich had been knocked off his bicycle and called 911, Line said. Reich was struck in the head and pronounced dead at the scene.>>
