We lost a lot of snow today. The temperature rose to about 50F. :D It is even getting a little sloppy outside. I took Sassy for a short walk and I had to keep her from snooping in the mud puddles. She usually hates to get her feet wet but today she wanted to sniff the fresh mud. Next week they are predicting temperatures in the 60's. That may even dry things out a little. 8-)

AH, yes. Spring is just around the corner. The mud and the bugs appearing. Almost makes me yearn for Fall.

80s today, last week -5. Can't believe we've had 18" of snow this month. Cold front tomorrow. It's only supposed to be in the 60s this weekend.

Sounds like our fair weather is about to be interrupted as the forecast calls for rain turning to snow this weekend. Darn winter ain't over til it's over. :(

Ever notice how much we quote Yogi Bera? He always said of baseball games - it ain't over til It's over. And he also said - when you come to a fork in the road, take it! He did and then he went home and ate pasta with it.

For Owlice: I did indeed try to bike around in the foot of fresh snow - it's such a beautiful feeling to float through snow on a bike (once you've gotten going) and everything is so clean and pure.

Enjoy! It's so beautiful here in Minneapolis, plus we had a snow day!

Wow! Winter snapped back with frigid winds yesterday. :( Today will be cold also but tomorrow should bounce into the 40's F. Then again; snow is predicted for the weekend. :? I think I got spring fever already!

We just finished 3 days of snowfall! only amounted to about an inch total! It was more like a mist than an actual snowfall. I think a lot of it evaporated as it fell. It was easier to deal with than earlier snows. Tomorrow should be the start of better weather. 40'sF are forecast and the 7 day forecast seems promising! Maybe Spring will get here.

It was pretty nice today but the forecast is for up to 4 inches of snow for tomorrow. :( I really don't care if I see another drop of snow 'til next winter.

Hey if you want my snow you can have it! I'd rather have the rain; as long as it doesn't cause flooding and we get some sunshine in between showers' 8-)

Rain, and lots of it, here, prompting flood warnings.

'Tis spring; I know this not because I heard spring peepers over the weekend (though I did), nor because I see daffodils blooming in my yard (though I do), but because my backyard has become, as it does every spring, a marsh.

Orin, I'm glad you have good weather! Yay!
