Re: For The Funny Bone!
Boy, it's a small world. Those goats belong to my next door neighbor- you can see my ranch in some of the background. And the film seems to have been made by another neighbor. But this is the first I've heard of it. Pretty amazing!

Wow! I guess that is quite a coincidence! Your neighbor really has some pretty playful animals.

I wonder what else your neighbor has going on over there Perhaps you should pay them a vist and maybe mention where you saw their goats? We may be able to get to see some more interesting cavortationsChris Peterson wrote:Boy, it's a small world. Oh, Chris... did you have to do that?! Not only does she have goats for sale -- which, though they are cute, I'm pretty sure I cannot keep in my suburban community -- she has yarn. Beautiful cashmere yarn. I like beautiful yarns. I like them a lot! I don't know whether it's a good or bad thing she's sold out of the dyed yarns; it certainly removes the temptation to buy some, knowing there isn't any, but dang, I missed them!

In a couple of months her goats will be ready for combing, and the hair will start coming off. Some she sends out for processing, and some she spins herself- mainly the naturally colored stuff. She specializes in natural colors, and breeds for them. Anyway, if you decide you do need more yarn, check her site again in February or March.owlice wrote:Oh, Chris... did you have to do that?! Two words... prehensile feet.
Just call me "geck" because "zilla" is like a last name.
Re: For The Funny Bone!
lol, geckzilla!
beyond, I have to confess.... I wasn't really knitting.
I was crocheting (which I generally prefer to knitting). "Tending to one's knitting" sounds better, though.

Re: For The Funny Bone!
For anyone interested; there is a web site. http://gigglewiththegoats.com/
I originally got the link from my wife's Uncle; and I thought it was so cute I had to share it. I hope everyone enjoyed it. When I was a kid; Mom and Dad had a billy and a nanny that we kept for milk. They weren't cashmere's but were a lot of fun. After the billy died the nanny morned him and passed soon after.
