Well, I'm in serious withdrawal for a pretty blue spiral galaxy with star formation regions lined up like pearls on a string, so I guess I'd better post such a spiral myself, eh?

Well, no, you shouldn't. This has nothing to do with the APOD discussion. You should post it in one of the other forum sections- it's just confusing things here.
