Galaxy Zoo OOTD

Post by JeanTate » Wed Sep 15, 2010 5:54 pm

Galaxy Zoo, which I expect everyone here knows about, has a more-or-less daily Object of the Day (OOTD).

The images featured are, usually, from the galaxies (and other things!) which the citizen scientists doing the classifications (who are colloquially called 'zooites') were served up, to classify. Many of the objects have been nominated by zooites, as being worthy of featuring in an OOTD.

Would it be appropriate for some of the best to be linked to, here?

 Good idea. You got anything better to do? I say, "Go for it!"

However, I suggest moving this to the Observation Deck.

I don't think I can, yet ... don't I need to have a certain number of posts under my virtual belt before I can post links/URLs?

If you are serious about wanting to do this, it can be arranged.

BTW: Welcome aboard The Starship Asterisk*.

Thanks for the welcome! :)

Yes, I'd appreciate that; however, it's likely I won't be posting any links (or anything, for that matter) for a day or three.
