I think the robot was schizo, or had some sort of brain fart. Somebody should just remove this duplicate...beyond wrote:How come this Apod was posted twice today?? Lack of communication???

Maybe a freak lightening storm hit Houghton. (I think that's where Otto Posterman lives.)Chris Peterson wrote:I think the robot was schizo, or had some sort of brain fart. ...

Someone should check on Otto. If any of the robot's "brain-fart-gas" escapes............there's no telling what the Apod's are going to start looking like

I wonder how I missed the dupe? Now you have me wondering how it happened. It definitely had something to do with the power outage... that the APOD involved features some spectacular lightning is ironic. Now that I look, the power outage and this APOD are a few days apart. Since I never saw the dupe, I'm just going to assume you're all crazy... there couldn't possibly have been something wrong with the bot.
Just call me "geck" because "zilla" is like a last name.

Lightning Over Athens (2010 Jul 20)
Lightning and Greece. Reminds me of Zeus from Ancient Greek mythology.
That must have been a very interesting (and very scary) show for that guy on the ground and the camera operator as well. Lucky for them, they didn't get struck by lightning as well in all that chaos, since pretty much everything can produce positive streamers.
