ATOM feeds enabled

I have enabled ATOM feeds for a number of areas on the board. However, to be perfectly honest, I've never actually used feeds before. If anyone does and would like to post about how to use them or has any comments about the new feature, post your thoughts here.

If using Firefox, one may access atom feeds from this icon:


The icon is the same for IE but it is below the URL bar instead of within it.

And here I thought Atom was an acronym that was supposed to be all caps...

So thats why the RSS feed symbol turns orange when i come to starship Asterisk lately. I've never really seen any sense in all that "extra" stuff. whats the difference if i click on one of my favorite buttons or click the Rss/Atom symbol?? Once you find something in cyberspace its just one clickaway with the favorite button.

I guess we'd both know the point if we actually used them. As far as making sense, well, some people may use it even if most don't.

Your post did make me notice the RSS button, there. For some reason I've never noticed that or the little favorite icon. Now I know how to subscribe to feeds.

WOW! I was actually helpful. Must have been that promotion to science officer. I still do not know how to subscribe to RSS feeds. My RSS symbol only turns orange if I'm in Asterisk somewhere.
I've got a 24" screen so i can put about 20 favorites at small size. Now I've got 15 but do not use some of them, so I'm really set for being just one click away from my usual Haunts.
