NGC3372 is incredible. It takes my vote. Its APOD worth no doubt. Resolution is insane considering its a 6 panel mosaic! Awesome.

Thanks

After much hemming-n-hawing and indecision, I finally cast a vote for the last picture - NGC3372.

But I'm always at war with myself with deciding among items that appeals to the child in me (NGC 2841 - Spiral Galaxy in Ursa Major), the artist in me, as minimal as that might be (Trifid & Lagoon Nebulas and M21) and that picture that causes me to try to understand more about space distances/sizes with an appreciation of the photographer's effort (NGC3372).

I'm in awe of what these astro photographers do with personal equipment!!!

Although it was a very hard choice, I voted for #3 because of the odd shape of the galaxy!
Best wishes,

Just came across this post...shame voting has already closed :(

If I had the opportunity, I would have voted for NGC3372. Its a lovely imaging show spacial distance between infamous objects of the southern sky.
