Sirius a three entity system?

Post by unohu » Thu Nov 05, 2009 3:31 pm

The ancient Eygyptian symbol for Sirius is an elongated triangle (three points) .. and of course the two known entities of Sirius are involved in an elongated orbit. The Dogon people of Africa claim to know that Sirius is a three entity system .. they say three stars but I suspect two stars and a planet. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sirius

Modern science suspects Sirius is a three entity system because of anomalies in the known orbits of A and B, but searches have not yet found the third entity. The Babylonians also knew Sirius as a three entity sytem, as well as their predecesors.

The Dogon and Babylonians claim to have been visited by Sirians who were either half-human half fish/reptile (or who wore clothing which looked like fish/reptile skin.)

It is interesting to note that many pre-European contact cultures around the earth named Sirus by Canine names .. Dog, Wolf, Coyote etc.
