Although the star that created SN 1572, is likely completely gone, a star dubbed Tycho G, too dim to be easily discerned here, is being studied as the possible companion.

Absolutely fascinating how bubble-like the 'cloud' is, if it can be called a cloud. As a poet with a (waning) fascination for the use and meaning of words, I simply cannot apply the word cloud to that bubble .. seeing it far more similar to a bubble in a body of water than a cloud.

With all the green in that puffball I think God might have blown that star up specially for St. Paddy's day (which is today just for the information o'all the Scotchpeople hereabouts who don't know what an Irish calendar looks like even though ye Scotts were Irish in the Beginning.)
