one good thing for sure is that Huygens didn't return any pictures that had "shadows" or "faces".

at least those people won't be involved in this one. but they always try to find a way to prove a government alien coverup

That number suprises me, with a mass over 300 times that of Earth I would expect it to be higher. The size of the core must have been down graded since my old books were published. That girl is just a surfing friend of mine - she did ask if you were married. a=(m*G)/(R^2) Jupiter is not dense, so i...

I am too.

But, if there are non-reflective surfaces , or they bounce at a different angle, the radar cannot detect it's own signal.

Why do galaxies with small black holes still exibit characteristics due to dark matter? I guess the question is: Large Galaxies with large black holes exhibit characteristics of dark matter. Small Galaxies with small or no black holes also exhibit those characteristics. So how could a no-black-hole-...

Thanks for the info; but where did you get it? Did you work on either of these projects or their instruments? This would certainly explain the image quality, but I'm still puzzled that there doesn't seem to be any altitude data, just light patches (radar reflective) and dark patches (not radar refl...

um... holy unlimited bliss batman..! that's awsome thanks for the links. The image from my above post is now wide-spread over the net, and is actually loosely cropped version of this image (see below) by J.P.Luminet; on one of his site pages you can find older, original computer-simulated image . http://lpnhe-auger.in2p3.fr/slides/vulg...

This whole topic of discussion makes me upset. Those people (few indeed) that believe we never went there have no spirit and no faith. looks to me like a picture you could see on earth Has anybody noticed the size of the sun on http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/ap041221.html ? This simulated view of Huygen’s probe descent seems flawed to me because the sun’s brightness and angular size is more consistent to what we’d see from the Ea...
