Re: JPL: NASA and Microsoft Provide Mars 3-D Close Encounter

Hi, I use often Microsoft’s “WorldWide Telescope” and this new feature is really exciting. Before install the software, check the Windows system requirements, specially: “ Required for some features; Internet connection at 56 Kbps or higher through either an Internet service provider (ISP) or a netw...

Re: Do APOD users click on links?

Interesting, thanks Joan. You said the 2010 April 27 APOD was the most clicked, overall. Do you have the top ten on that? How about APOD views, which seemed to be the most popular? Hi, I just can talk about Catalan APOD. I have some data, but I still must to check them. Anyway, you can use a popula...

Do APOD users click on links?

That’s a try to answer the question, but only based on Catalan translation APOD mirror site. CLICKING USER’S BEHAVIOR ON APOD IN CATALAN APOD External links: those which target to pages which are not part of Catalan APOD web site. Internal links: those which target to pages which are part of Catalan...

Re: APOD: Starry Night Scavenger Hunt (2010 Jun 15)

The "Vermeer" is in the window of a house below the church, but what's that thing in the lower left? The thing in the lower left looks like Thor's Helmet. It looks kinda creepy when you see it in the bushes. You are absolutely right! http://www.apodcatala.com/lib/creepy_thing01.jpg http:/...

Anybody identifies this object?

http://www.apodcatala.com/lib/object.jpg

It’s on the upper right corner.
I guessed that it’s Saturn and its Galilean Moons, but right now I think that I’m wrong.

Hi

The first occurrence of the word “Celsius” (“an unbearably cold -180 degrees Celsius…”) has a link to:
http://www.athena.ivv.nasa.gov/curric/w ... rcels.html

The url http://www.athena.ivv.nasa.gov/ seems that isn’t yet active.

Arizona State url - APOD Aug-10

Hi.

From a lot of months ago, the Official Web Site of the State of Arizona is http://www.az.gov/webapp/portal/ ; usually on APOP is used http://www.state.az.us/ as Arizona’s link, that is re-addressed to the first url. Using the first one the discharge is faster.
