Nine spacecraft have visited Jupiter. Seven flew by and two have orbited the gas giant. Juno, the most recent, arrived at Jupiter in 2016.

Jupiter is a gas giant and so lacks an Earth-like surface. If it has a solid inner core at all, it’s likely only about the size of Earth.

Jupiter rotates once about every 10 hours (a Jovian day), but takes about 12 Earth years to complete one orbit of the Sun (a Jovian year).

Space Toilet

The Zvezda (Star) is a Russian-built space module with the most important thing on the ISS on it: the toilet! It separates feces from urine, so the liquid can later be filtered into what they drink.

Odin Satellite

The Odin Satellite is an observatory in space used to take pictures since 2001. It's from the Swedish National Space Agency or SNSA. My friend Jeffery and I think it's very interesting! We're actually learning Swedish to maybe write a letter to them.
