Re: APOD: Starburst Galaxy M94 from Hubble (2022 Jul 31)
If the stars are less than 10 million years old(all the blue ones in the star forming spiral), then how did the light reach us-being that M94 is 15 million light years distant ?

Re: APOD Retrospective: January 27
If a panorama was made of the Milky Way,from the voyager's position outside the solar system-would the Milky Way appear to be a circle ? I would like to see an artists rendition of The Galaxy from a viewpoint unobstructed by the earths horizon.

the big bang
My question is-if the universe started as an infinitely dense singularity-and bang-it goes in all directions-and we now can see light from a galaxy 13 billion ly away-how could it get that far unless it [the distant galaxy] was traveling at near light speed for 13 billion years?
