We liked this image. It would be so nice if folks would learn to turn the lights off at night. Even in our tiny village we are starting to get light pollution as people put up more lights.

This might be a stupid question, but, would Saturn be visible in a similar way from the moon? Don't pay attention to my answer, as we are not experts, but if you had a 20" telescope on the moon with no atmosphere, I would think Saturn would look about the same size but much sharper? Love this ...

I remember the vivid red sunsets after the Mt. St. Helens volcano in the 1980's. We are still hoping to see the comet from our location, unfortunately the horizon has a big mountain in the way.

Did it rain that day? This is a very curious cloud formation. It looks as though the wind has scrunched the layers together. Always something new to study!
